Microcement FAQ

Can microcement go over existing tile?+

Yes — in most cases, microcement can be applied directly over existing ceramic, porcelain, or stone tile. We prepare the surface properly to ensure adhesion, which eliminates the need for demolition entirely. This is one of the biggest cost and time savings microcement offers.

Is microcement waterproof?+

Yes. When sealed with our two-component protective topcoat, microcement is fully waterproof. It's suitable for bathrooms, showers, kitchens, and wet areas. The sealed surface also makes it extremely easy to clean — just wipe it down.

How long does microcement installation take?+

A typical bathroom or small room takes 3–5 days. Larger floors or commercial spaces may take 5–10 days depending on size and complexity. Each layer needs to dry fully before the next is applied — we never rush this process.

What colors are available?+

Microcement is available in a wide range of colors — from warm creams and off-whites to cool charcoals and mid-tone grays. We can also create custom tones. The finish can be matte, satin, or gloss depending on your preference.

Is microcement durable enough for floors?+
