Bigger jobs cost less per square foot. Setup time (prep, masking, mixing) is roughly the same for a small porch as a large patio. A 100 sq ft porch may run $20+/sq ft; an 800 sq ft driveway may run $10/sq ft.
If the slab is sound with hairline cracks, prep is minimal. If there's spalling, deep cracks, exposed rebar, or settled sections, we have to repair before any decorative overlay can bond. Heavy prep can add $1,000–$3,000 to a project.
